I’m finally getting around to blogging these as she was sending save the date cards for the New Year and I think it’s safe to say everyone has received theirs…..
She had a feeling that it was going to happen soon and when I saw on her Facebook status that they were going away for the weekend I had an inkling that she would be getting engaged and indeed he popped the question! SO happy for them and SO honored she asked me to photograph their engagements! She’s the face behind making all my high school senior girls beautiful with their makeup during their session. I can not wait for their special day, she’s going to be a beautiful bride for sure! Thank you Mandy and Zac for spending an afternoon with me while we check this off your long to-do list as you prepare for your special day! She made her sign too, I love it!

It’s a new year and I guess it’s time to update the blog with a new post…..I’ve been enjoying the time away from my computer, my office and just hanging out with my girls. It’s been really nice, and I do have a few posts to blog from some wonderful families I photographed right before the holidays. But I’ll start the new year’s post off by wishing my baby, baby, a very Happy 1st Birthday!
One year ago today, we were SO BLESSED with her! She’s the happy, smiley little one that has completed our family and made it a party of six. I really can’t believe a whole year has flown by, it feels like yesterday that I was carrying her in my belly! I sure have enjoyed having her a part of our family and the big girls always say, “What would life be like without her?!” So today, please help me wish my baby a Happy 1st Birthday! She has made my life and heart so full! We also had another birthday in our family too the other day, my ” other baby” of the big girls just turned fourteen. Yes, two teenagers, a toddler and a one year old in the house…..they keep us busy that’s for sure!

As everyone gathers with family and loved ones today or those that still have to work and are surrounded by coworkers, I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!
I am most thankful for my family, for an amazing husband and my healthy beautiful girls and to all those that I have become friends with along the way on this photography journey. Thank you for your support and the opportunity to capture your family and make beautiful memories for you!

She almost decided she wasn’t going to have her senior portraits taken, she felt there was really no need to do so. But I am SOOO glad she decided against that and contacted me to have them done.
Tierney, you are beautiful inside and out. Continue to be the wonderful gal I hung out with and got to know while “shooting” you. It was all my pleasure to do so and I wish you all the best going forward and after your senior year! Thank you!

I’ve known this beautiful expecting momma for most of her life, I used to change her diapers back in the day. Yep! Many, many years ago and now she’s going to be expecting her very first princess. I’m so glad she wanted to have some pictures taken of her cute little baby bump, because this is definitely a time you’ll want to remember always….I’m so excited for them, they will be great parents!
Lisa and Ben, I can not wait to meet Baby “B”! She’ll be here before you know it!

We never could get this session on the books last year but we finally made it a point to get them scheduled early enough this time. But still proved hard when both of our schedules are hectic at this time of year with not only shooting other families, seniors and what not as she’s also a photographer as well.
Meet the beautiful one behind Dawn Cooper Photography and her “party of six” family! We had a ton of fun, it’s so nerve racking to photograph another photographer’s family because you are kind of put to the ultimate test so to speak. Even though we’ve known each other for awhile now! I thank you Dawn, for putting me up to the “challenge” of capturing your family’s memories. I love that I can be a part of them, and just love your family too!

The day before Father’s Day I had the opportunity to photograph this first time father and his son. They were out here visiting his mom, baby blue eyes’ “mimi”, if I can remember correctly that’s what she wants him to call her….but no “G-ma” for her! LOL! 
What a cutie! He melted my heart when he got out of the car and reached out for me to hold him but with those blue eyes, who could resist?! Thanks MJ, he’s a doll and you did wonderful. Can’t wait to watch little guy grow up, I’m sure soon he’ll be running around the court in no time! And thanks Tina (aka G-ma)! Enjoy a few of my favorites!

She’s almost 6 months now and time has just flown by! I love her to pieces and couldn’t imagine what I would do without these cute chubby cheeks smiling back at me.
