I’m finally getting around to blogging these as she was sending save the date cards for the New Year and I think it’s safe to say everyone has received theirs…..
She had a feeling that it was going to happen soon and when I saw on her Facebook status that they were going away for the weekend I had an inkling that she would be getting engaged and indeed he popped the question! SO happy for them and SO honored she asked me to photograph their engagements! She’s the face behind making all my high school senior girls beautiful with their makeup during their session. I can not wait for their special day, she’s going to be a beautiful bride for sure! Thank you Mandy and Zac for spending an afternoon with me while we check this off your long to-do list as you prepare for your special day! She made her sign too, I love it!

It’s a new year and I guess it’s time to update the blog with a new post…..I’ve been enjoying the time away from my computer, my office and just hanging out with my girls. It’s been really nice, and I do have a few posts to blog from some wonderful families I photographed right before the holidays. But I’ll start the new year’s post off by wishing my baby, baby, a very Happy 1st Birthday!
One year ago today, we were SO BLESSED with her! She’s the happy, smiley little one that has completed our family and made it a party of six. I really can’t believe a whole year has flown by, it feels like yesterday that I was carrying her in my belly! I sure have enjoyed having her a part of our family and the big girls always say, “What would life be like without her?!” So today, please help me wish my baby a Happy 1st Birthday! She has made my life and heart so full! We also had another birthday in our family too the other day, my ” other baby” of the big girls just turned fourteen. Yes, two teenagers, a toddler and a one year old in the house…..they keep us busy that’s for sure!

LOVED everything about this session, Emma was such a doll. The light and weather was in our favor and her makeup looked perfect by Mandy at Sensational Skin. I couldn’t have asked for a better senior session. Boy, I had a very hard time choosing which ones to blog because, I.LOVE.EVERY.SINGLE one of her images!
Emma and Mary, I thank you for getting in touch with me and going along with my visions and allowing me to let me do my thing! For letting me drag you to that location that looked straight out of a scene from Criminal Minds….but I think it was so worth it! I had such a fun evening hanging out with the two of you! Emma, where ever you decide to venture off to after senior year I know you’ll succeed and have fun, I wish you all the best!

She didn’t want to have senior portraits taken with the “regular” guy, so she searched online and stumbled upon my site and found that we would be a great match. I am so glad, because it was all my pleasure spending the afternoon with Desiree and her mom around town photographing her. We started her session at Sensational Skin where she got her makeup done, which was included in her session. Mandy did a fabulous job with her makeup!
She’s a quiet girl, well at least for our session she was. Easy going and just beautiful, actually reminded me of the lead singer from PCD. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it until the very end of our session though. Desiree, I am glad you me felt we’d be a great match for your senior portraits. I wish you all the best and good luck with your submissions to the schools of your choice, I know you’ll do well and become a fantastic nurse!

She almost decided she wasn’t going to have her senior portraits taken, she felt there was really no need to do so. But I am SOOO glad she decided against that and contacted me to have them done.

I’ve known this beautiful expecting momma for most of her life, I used to change her diapers back in the day. Yep! Many, many years ago and now she’s going to be expecting her very first princess. I’m so glad she wanted to have some pictures taken of her cute little baby bump, because this is definitely a time you’ll want to remember always….I’m so excited for them, they will be great parents!
Lisa and Ben, I can not wait to meet Baby “B”! She’ll be here before you know it!

The beautiful Jazmyne’s turn on the blog! She’s this year’s Casa Grande High School Rep for Nitny S. Photography and we went out a few weeks ago to finish up her final session. We never could get this session on the books last year but we finally made it a point to get them scheduled early enough this time. But still proved hard when both of our schedules are hectic at this time of year with not only shooting other families, seniors and what not as she’s also a photographer as well.
Meet the beautiful one behind Dawn Cooper Photography and her “party of six” family! We had a ton of fun, it’s so nerve racking to photograph another photographer’s family because you are kind of put to the ultimate test so to speak. Even though we’ve known each other for awhile now! I thank you Dawn, for putting me up to the “challenge” of capturing your family’s memories. I love that I can be a part of them, and just love your family too!
