One Year | Petaluma Children’s Portrait Photographer ~ Nitny S. Photography

It’s a new year and I guess it’s time to update the blog with a new post…..I’ve been enjoying the time away from my computer, my office and just hanging out with my girls. It’s been really nice, and I do have a few posts to blog from some wonderful families I photographed right before the holidays. But I’ll start the new year’s post off by wishing my baby, baby, a very Happy 1st Birthday!

One year ago today, we were SO BLESSED with her! She’s the happy, smiley little one that has completed our family and made it a party of six. I really can’t believe a whole year has flown by, it feels like yesterday that I was carrying her in my belly! I sure have enjoyed having her a part of our family and the big girls always say, “What would life be like without her?!” So today, please help me wish my baby a Happy 1st Birthday! She has made my life and heart so full! We also had another birthday in our family too the other day, my ” other baby” of the big girls just turned fourteen. Yes, two teenagers, a toddler and a one year old in the house…..they keep us busy that’s for sure!

“L” Maternity | Petaluma Maternity Photographer ~ Nitny S. Photography

I’ve known this beautiful expecting momma for most of her life, I used to change her diapers back in the day. Yep! Many, many years ago and now she’s going to be expecting her very first princess. I’m so glad she wanted to have some pictures taken of her cute little baby bump, because this is definitely a time you’ll want to remember always….I’m so excited for them, they will be great parents!

Lisa and Ben, I can not wait to meet Baby “B”! She’ll be here before you know it!

Meet the little one I got to snuggle with at just eight days new the other day. I’m loving her cheeks and those lips, once again such a sweet newborn. She was so good, didn’t fuss one bit. Mom and Dad are just smitten by her, as this is their very first princess!

Petaluma Newborn Photographer | Baby “S” ~ Nitny S. Photography

Here’s Baby “S”, the baby I wanted to take home with me after her session! Which I don’t think my husband would have been very happy about, being she’s another girl! LOL! Or the fact her parents are head over heels about her. Who wouldn’t be?! She’s so stinkin’ cute!

Love those cheeks, those lips and she’s just going to have a special place in my heart as her momma and I are good friends, she’s my “sunshine”. I’m so happy for you, Toni and Kevin. Thank you for the pleasure to document these newborn moments for you!

Petaluma Newborn Photographer | Baby “P” ~ Nitny S. Photography

Finally getting some of these added to the blog, she’s now almost three months old! Yes, I am blogging totally out of order, but my life is out of order so bare with me! LOL!

Here’s Baby “P” just eight days new when I first met her. I had the pleasure of capturing her in momma’s belly twice, you can see the cute bump she made on mom here and here. Baby “P” had plans of not sleeping for her close ups, and I think we managed to get her snoozing all of ten minutes! But she was a doll, so beautiful and precious! Thank you Kelli and Ramiro for sharing your first with me, I look forward to keeping up via Facebook on her growth!

Baby’s Firsts | Petaluma Baby Photographer ~ Nitny S. Photography

These are the biggest craze in shoes amongst my teenagers. They were a gift from my husband’s client to Baby girl #3 about two years ago and I put them away for her and never had her wear them so I was determine to put them to use this time around. I have to admit they are the cutest things on those little baby legs! She still has room to “grow” in them, and maybe they’ll still fit when she starts walking.

Mama To Be | Petaluma Maternity Portrait Photographer ~ Nitny S. Photography

I am beyond excited for this mama to be and her husband to have their little one, they will make great parents and hopefully won’t be so “serious”. Haha! I managed to get some smiles out of them and we had a good time. But the serious side of her husband fits him, he needs to be for his line of work.

“Sunshine”, I can not wait to meet your little girl! You make looking pregnant so beautiful and thank you for the opportunity to capture this special time in your lives. I’m so glad we still get to see each other occasionally since not working with one another and I look forward to photographing Baby “S” in a few weeks!

Father & Son | Petaluma Family Portrait Photographer ~ Nitny S. Photography

The day before Father’s Day I had the opportunity to photograph this first time father and his son. They were out here visiting his mom, baby blue eyes’ “mimi”, if I can remember correctly that’s what she wants him to call her….but no “G-ma” for her! LOL!

What a cutie! He melted my heart when he got out of the car and reached out for me to hold him but with those blue eyes, who could resist?! Thanks MJ, he’s a doll and you did wonderful. Can’t wait to watch little guy grow up, I’m sure soon he’ll be running around the court in no time! And thanks Tina (aka G-ma)! Enjoy a few of my favorites!
